Sunrise and Insanity
There’s been an incident at the Honeyoaks Institute, one the new patients went
a little crazier then usual and started biting people.
Now the lot of you are
in the infirmary in the dead of night and something feels a little off.
Something cold and foreboding that you can’t put your finger on, and to make
matters worse your companions are acting a bit nuts
but the one consolation you have is that at least you are completely normal…right?

Space Alert Academy:Training Mission
Intrepid crews of space cadets attempt to survive their training mission and advance to the graduate mission. Space Alert is a cooperative team survival game. Players become crew members of a small spaceship scanning dangerous sectors of galaxy. The missions last just 10 minutes (hyperspace jump, sector scan, hyperspace jump back) and the only task the players have is to protect their ship.
Two CDs play ten minute soundtracks that represent central computer announcements about the presence of various threats. These vary from space battleships and interceptors to different interstellar monsters and abominations, asteroids or even intruders and malfunctions on the spaceship. Players have to agree who will take care of which task and coordinate their actions (moving around the ship, firing weapons, distributing energy, using battlebots to deal with intruders, launching guided missiles etc.) in real time to defend the ship. Only a well-working team can survive ten minutes and make the jump back to safety. |

The disappearance of a Canadian citizen has turned a possible kidnapping
scenario into a potential international incident.
A hastily gathered team of federal agents and paramedics now prepares to travel
via helicopter to the top of Mount Buford, in rural Floyd County, Kentucky.
The site for many a teenage ghost story,
it is thought that the top of Mount Buford actually holds a cave
in which a hermit has lived for some years.
Rumors of his bizarre behavior have now blossomed into the likelihood
that he is a kidnapper and may be holding one or more people hostage. |

In England, the Royal Society has sponsored the public employment of
alchemy for the benefit of its citizens for the past twenty years.
In France, the Academy of Science has been disbanded by the Catholic Church
and its members burned for the practice of that diabolic craft. In America,
the great, gaping frontier rests at the far, far western edge of a place
called Pennsylvania. Looming in the deep woods is the fabled and insular
Algonkin (sic) Republic. News of the massacre of a Spanish expedition has
filtered east, and the governor and guildmasters of a young town called
Philadelphia are mustering an expedition Into the Uncharted Woods. Your band
is to search for survivors and... other things. A freewheeling, tall-tale-ing,
otherwordly adventure set in a speculative young America filled with Bona
Fide Alchemmie, Civilyzed Naytivves, and Dyvers Wondrous Other Creatures
and Sytes.

The Fires of Tolstaff Keep
For eight hundred years, the red dragon Nahaz, Lord of
the Argent Plains, has played guardian and benevolent (for a chromatic
dragon) ruler of Loudwater, a small town on the very north of the plains,
and the surrounding area. Two weeks ago, however, Nahaz kidnapped the
daughter of Loudwater's mayor and vanished back into his lair, Tolstoff
Keep, without any warning. Since then, the dragon has become dangerous and
violent, razing outlying villages and snatching people up to devour at
random. The Shire Reeve of the town has hired the party to go rescue Mayor
Haversham's daughter and investigate the dragon's sudden change of
character...and to slay Nahaz if nothing can be done.

Insane Russian Cleric
It is the present day, Russia. Although Vladimir Putin is not president anymore,
he's sure still acting like it and his presidential appointee seems to be
in complete agreement. If Vlad is not a Tzar, he sure is acting like one,
and the Russians like it. They are being seen as a world power again, and
they have mostly reorganized their economy so they aren't simply importing
everything. And with a rise in economic power so has there been a
commensurate rise in the power of the Russian orthodox church.
The Russian Patriarch is starting to preach that he is the center of the
orthodox church (in direct conflict with several tenets of the eastern
orthodox religion), and thus of all Christendom. I believe his comment
was "The pope is merely a bishop in our church. I suggest he get used to it."
This is where you all come in. You have been invited as honored guests
to a convocation of the orthodox church to decided who really is the supreme
leader of god's flock on earth. Is it the head of the Greek church? The
head of the Russian church? Should a Persian or an oriental bishop head
the church? Or neither? Should the current setup of bishoprics continue
or is there a centralization of power required to combat the rising forces
of Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam? Experience: Players 12+
